My great father’s last 12 days of life.
He was never diagnosed with covid. But, he was kept alone and in isolation away from his wife of 55yrs. and family because of inhumane covid-19 protocols for 9 days inside Marshall hospital in Placerville, CA in 2020. No amount of begging, pleading and threatening would soften the hearts of the administration and staff to allow him his families advocacy and love! You see, he WALKED into Marshall hospital ER with some slight difficulty breathing. Was admitted and treated/tortured it seemed for 9 days. Only allowed 1 visit by his wife about day 5 because his prognosis was extremely grim and they thought he would die soon. But, not surprising to us. He perked up and then quickly declined again until his release via a ambulance ride where he was carried to a hospice bed at home. He went to heaven 3 days later at 5:55am with his family finally at his side.
