My elderly Dad had three attempts made on his life , no consultation with family , a DNR and a Dols was placed on him the second attempt as the NHS hospital trapped him in a bed to make him lose more mobility and drugged up on lorazepam for 10 weeks , I instructed a solicitor to put a stop to this barbaric torture , my dad was then transferred to an awfull care home we’re he was illegally detained against our wishes and that of his wife of 65 years , with the help of a power of attorney that was fraudulently obtained by my Dads adopted daughter , we applied for a court of protection which took forever , meanwhile my Dad was put on EOL protocol just three weeks before a court of protection hearing . Leaving him unprotected and at the mercy of his abusers who had fraudulently made a will and stole his savings whilst he lacked mental capacity. Failed by the very services who are meant to protect the vulnerable .
