My husband Willem (62) were admitted to Hospital in Vredendal with low oxygen levels. 11 Aug ’21 He was given oxygen and it was soon under control. Then his sugar levels went up and they transferred him to Vredenburg Life Hospital. He arrived there sitting up and sending msgs and pictures. Then he went from bad to worse. Kidney failure. Within days. Never tested positive for covid. Not that it means anything, anyway. He was put in an coma and died within 5 days. 21 Aug ’21 I was in hospital with him everyday. I saw him perish before my eyes and could do nothing to save him. I have photos and whatsapp msgs from Willem to confirm all that I have said.
